Cherry Chocolate Chip Smoothie

This cherry chocolate chip smoothie was inspired by my love for all things…well of course, cherry and chocolate. It’s a delicious way to satisfy those cravings for a DQ blizzard without the processed ingredients that leave you feeling bloated, make your tummy angry and your pants too tight.

While certainly not sugar free, it’s a healthier dairy free version to indulge in once in a while. Trust me…it’s so yum you won’t miss DQ for a moment and your tummy will thank you too!

Cherry Chocolate Chip Smoothie

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup frozen cherries
  • 3 Tbsp dark chocolate chips
  • 1 Tbsp cherry extract
  • 1/4 cup coconut milk
  • 3 scoops vanilla SO Delicious coconut milk ice cream

DIRECTIONS

  1. Place all ingredients in large NutriBullet cup and blend until smooth. Enjoy!

Note: You can also substitute almond milk and almond milk ice cream for the coconut milk and coconut milk ice cream. Substitute vegan chocolate chips for a completely dairy free and vegan friendly dessert.
